Beverly High School Update

The Social Studies Department plans to sponsor a trip to Washington, D.C.
next April. If approved by the School Committee, the trip will take place on
April 10-15 and be organized by Project Close Up, a non-profit group that
has been providing students with an in-depth look at our nation's capitol
for almost 40 years. On Tuesday, October 19 at 7 p.m. in room B209, the Social 

Studies department will hold a meeting for parents and interested students to meet arepresentative from CloseUp and students who have attended the trip in the past. Anyparent who can't attend the meeting and has further questions about the trip is
welcome to contact Ms. Brotherton, Social Studies Department facilitator,
through school email or by calling Beverly High and leaving a message.
