Beverly High School Update

The Social Studies Department is sponsoring a trip to Washington, D.C. next
April. If approved by the School Committee, the trip will take place on
April 10-15 and be organized through Project Close Up, a non-profit group
that has been providing students with an in-depth look at our nation's
capitol for almost 40 years. For students who are interested, an
informational meeting about the trip will take place on Tuesday, October 5
at 2:45 in Mr. Leahy's room (B207). At that meeting, students will be
provided with detailed information about the trip to take home to parents. A
meeting for parents of students who decide to go on the trip will take place
at a later date to be announced.  Any parent who has further questions about
the trip is welcome to contact Ms. Brotherton, Social Studies Department
facilitator, through school email or by calling Beverly High and leaving
a message.
