Beverly High School Update

Beverly High School student, Anita Richardson, received the First Place (Alec J. Nelson Award)for her poem, “Upon a Strange Encounter” at the 15th Annual Teen Poetry Contest sponsored by the Beverly Public Library. BHS student, Laura Koch, received honorable mention for her poem, Dancing With Death", and BHS student,Alex Groblewski, received third prize for “Roadkill Haiku”. A total of 26 poems were read aloud by poets and judges at the Poetry Contest Reception held on the night of Monday, April 25th.
